BoA, Asia's forever young pop princess is preparing to launch her 5th major LP Girls On Top. Recently the teen wonder from Korea who also enjoys superstar status in Japan has tried to extend her musical sphere to the huge Chinese market. Therefore, she's been busy trying ancient Chinese garments to fit her role as princess in the up-coming drama "Palace" that is based on a popular manga. As far as BoA's new album is concerned, the star could be seen shooting material for its cover and a new MV on 9th June. BoA fans can look forward to overall 13 songs including the title track Girls On Top, Addiction, Can't Let Go, MOTO, and Love can make a Miracle presented in various music styles. Appearing in traditional Korean clothes for the first time ever, BoA is all set to return displaying a more mature and rarely seen elegant side of herself!

When I ordered this, I didn't imagine I'd be SO impressed. Of course, BoA's Korean is wayyyyy better than her Japanese...so that's why I wanted it. Her Japanese works are too overrated actually. Her Korean stuff is what's the best. I wish she'd do more of it.

This album is really amazing. I didn't know BoA was THIS wonderful at Hip Hop until I ordered it. I love every song -n- the ballads will take your breath away. It's so cheap too!!! I'd charge more for such a wonderful album!!! It's almost just as good as her latest Japanese release, "Made In Twenty"! Next, I'm gonna order all her other Korean works that I don't own already! It's so different. LOVE IT!

Change Of Style

'Girls On Top' shows a dramatic change in BoA's style of music. Following songs such as My Sweetie and Shy Love from the album 'NO. 1' which are classified as cute, powerful music with a more punk type of beat to it from this album left me shocked.
'Girls On Top' includes the famous songs Moto and Girls On Top which gear more to the "American" style of music.

Everyone should at least give the songs a listen. You may be surprised that you like it that much!

Funky, but not all quality

Girls on Top is on-par with her previous 4 main albums (except I didnt like My Name) - in that like most albums, not just BoA's, have some really good tracks (mostly the singles), some ok ones... and some u just can't listen to. Hardcore fans will learn to love them all (i think) but since I'm not, I have to say this album aint that good, but then again aint that bad either. I like the new style of music, its funky!! Shame her image was kinda dissapointing. MOTO and Girls on Top are my favourites. Also the slow song Love Can Make a Miracle.
